A. Using Cloth Diapers can save you from 44-68% over the cost of disposable diapers even considering home laundering costs.

Q. What type of cloth diapers should I choose?
A. We recommend more one-size diapers. Since they last from birth to potty training, they will get more use. A bigger supply will reduce wear and tear.

Q: How many cloth diapers do I need to cloth diaper my baby?
A: It varies from baby to baby. Consult us for more information.

Q. Don’t cloth diapers stinky?
A. Don't all dirty diapers smell? You will be surprised to find out which smells worse, cloth or disposable?

Q. Washing pooped diapers is disgusting! How do I handle it?
A. Washing diapers is not as difficult as it seems. Cloth diapers can be used in washing machines and even dryers. Here is the Wash and Care instruction.

Q. How do I deal with cloth diapers when I am outside of the house?
A: Cloth diapering can be simple anywhere you go with a few basic supplies. Basic items are cloth diapers, hand towel or changing mat and waterproof wet bag to tote dirty diapers home in. 
 

Q. What is one size cloth diapers?
A. It's adjustable in both size and absorbency. Adjust the size as your baby grows. You can use it on most babies that range from 4 - 16kgs. Stuff it with as little or as much absorbency as you need to get you through a quick trip to the store, a long car ride, or maybe even overnight.  Please refer to the picture below:


Terminology

All in One (AIO) By far the most convenient cloth diapers. They have a built in diaper cover sewn into the cotton or fleece layer. They fasten with snaps or aplix closure. AIO’s function with the ease of a disposable and are perfect for daycare settings. No diaper cover required.

Pocket diapers are two piece diapering system with a piece of fleece that makes up the inner portion of fabric and a breathable waterproof layer that makes up the outer most portion. An absorbent insert is placed inside of the two pieces making the whole system act as an all in one system that keeps babies dry. Velcro or snap closings are being used to make pocket cloth diapers as easy as disposable diapers.

Fitted/Contoured diapers are contoured in shape and resemble a disposable diapers. The diaper includes an absorbent middle section and gathered edges. They are fitted with snaps or velcro and do require a diaper cover.

Diaper Covers wrap around a fitted diaper to protect clothing from wetness. Covers are contoured and are fasten with snaps or velcro. Covers can be made from a variety of materials including (PUL) polyester, vinyl, wool or fleece.

Wet Bag A waterproof bag used to hold dirty diapers when out of the house. It is made with one layer of laminated polyester knit with a zippered top to keep any smells and liquid inside the bag.

Inserts are generally made of microfiber or hemp or combination of both microfiber/hemp used in a pocket diaper to add absorbency. Can also be used to customize absorbancy in other cloth diaper methods.

Doublers are thick rectangular or oval pads that provide extra absorbency. These are typically placed next to baby’s skin on top of the diaper. Perfect for heavy wetters as well as night-time use.
